Park Ridge School District's Mission Statement
The Park Ridge School District is committed to the mission of educating all students to achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum content Standards at all grade levels. The district will nurture all students to be life long learners, ethical and responsible citizens, and independent, productive members of a global society.
The Park Ridge Public School District is again offering Park Ridge residents an Integrated Preschool Program scheduled to start in September at the same time as the District’s 2015-2016 school year.
Mandatory Residency Re-verification
As a Park Ridge resident, your child is entitled to attend the Park Ridge Schools free of charge. When you enrolled your child, you were required to provide documentation proving your residency in the Borough. Last summer, the district changed proof of residency requirements and enforced more stringent documentation requests with all current Kindergarten students. The District made this change to better protect the taxpayers in Park Ridge. If non-resident families attend our schools, this drains resources and is unfair to resident families who pay taxes in Park Ridge and financially support the school community.
Accordingly, the Board of Education recently determined that all parents of enrolled children in grades 1 to 11 must re-verify their residence within Park Ridge, using the new residency requirements. Current Kindergarten parents do not have to comply, since they have already supplied the new documentation.
You must fulfill this request to maintain your child’s enrollment status for the 2015-16 school year. In order to do so, you must present the attached form and residency documents by June 5, 2015 to the Superintendent’s Office (85 Pascack Road).
The Superintendent’s Office is open from 8AM to 4PM on all days that school is in session and will receive parents/guardians at this time. Appointments are not necessary. In addition, to better accommodate working parents, the office will be open during the following times:
- Wednesday, April 22nd 4-8pm
- Saturday, May 2nd 8am-Noon
- Monday, May 11th 4-8pm
- Wednesday, May 27th 4-8pm
